Pakistan has strongly condemned the provocative actions of Israeli ministers at Al-Aqsa Mosque and stated that it does not accept Israel’s illegal siege of Gaza.
Addressing a United Nations Security Council meeting on the situation in Gaza, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative, Munir Akram, emphasised that the Israeli blockade of Gaza must be lifted immediately.
He rejected the forced displacement of Palestinians and called for the restoration of humanitarian aid and the recognition of Palestinian rights.
The Pakistani envoy reiterated the country’s condemnation of Israeli ministers’ provocative behaviour at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
He stressed that Israel must immediately halt its atrocities in Gaza and reiterated that the illegal blockade is unacceptable.
He added that thousands of Palestinians, including many women and children, have been martyred in Israeli attacks. The people of Gaza are deprived of humanitarian aid, and the situation in hospitals remains dire.
