Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has strongly rejected recent allegations made by the Indian Prime Minister during a public address in Rajasthan, labelling them as “baseless, provocative, and irresponsible.”
In an official statement, the Foreign Office condemned the Indian leader’s remarks, which it said were “replete with distortions, misrepresentations, and inflammatory rhetoric,” and clearly aimed at inciting regional tensions for political gain.
“These statements not only mislead the public but also violate norms of responsible statecraft,” the statement read.
It termed the Indian Prime Minister’s comments about potential military action as a serious violation of the UN Charter and international law, warning that such rhetoric undermines regional peace and stability.

Pakistan reaffirmed its position as a proactive partner in the global fight against terrorism, calling attempts to link it with terrorism “factually incorrect and patently misleading.” The Foreign Office said such claims are frequently used by India to divert attention from its internal issues, particularly human rights abuses in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The statement concluded by criticizing India’s efforts to scapegoat Pakistan in order to obscure its own rights violations in IIOJK. It emphasized that the plight of the Kashmiri people and their legitimate struggle for self-determination cannot be silenced by “aggressive rhetoric and political deflection.”
