Pakistan Railways will operate five special trains during the Eid-ul-Adha period from June 2 to June 4, according to an official spokesperson.
The first special train will depart from Karachi Cantt at 1 p.m. on June 2, heading to Lahore. The second train will leave Quetta at 10 a.m. on June 3 for Peshawar Cantt.
The third special train will depart Lahore at 5 p.m. on June 3, bound for Karachi Cantt. The fourth train will leave Karachi City at 8 p.m. on June 3, heading to Rawalpindi.
The fifth and final special train will depart Karachi Cantt at 8 p.m. on June 4 for Lahore.
Coaches for the first, second, and fourth trains will be provided from workshops, while the third and fifth trains will use the existing Eid special train rakes.
The initiative is aimed at facilitating the public, reducing crowding, and ensuring safe travel during the holiday season.
