Pakistan has appreciated the role played by United States President Donald Trump in facilitating a ceasefire between Pakistan and India.
According to details, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Asim Iftikhar, during an interview with a British television channel, reiterated Pakistan’s firm commitment to a permanent ceasefire with India.
Iftikhar had emphasised that the Kashmir dispute remains a critical and unresolved issue between Pakistan and India. He stated that it must be resolved in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people.
He added that a just resolution of the Kashmir issue is essential for lasting peace in South Asia.
