Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam is likely to miss the remainder of the tournament due to a fractured finger.
Sources divulged on Thursday, Azam’s participation in today’s match against Karachi Kings is doubtful. The injury occurred during a practice session yesterday when a ball struck his finger, according to sources.
Babar was taken to hospital immediately, where he underwent a scan that confirmed the fracture. The Zalmi are expected to issue an official update on his condition shortly.
The team is set to take the field against Karachi Kings later today.
