Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday welcomed the increase in IT exports in the first nine months of the fiscal year 2025.
In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, the premier said: “Timely provision of facilities has increased IT sector exports by 23 per cent.”
“IT exports have reached a historic level of $2.828 billion,” stated PM Shehbaz.
He said, “The increase in IT exports is made possible due to the tireless work of the government team.”
“For the development of the IT sector, steps are being taken to provide professional training in order to increase exports,” said PM Shehbaz.
Separately, PM Shehbaz had pledged to deal a decisive blow to terrorists, ensuring they never threaten Pakistan again.
Chairing a high-level meeting on the law and order situation in Islamabad, the Prime Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
He said that Pakistan’s enemies are unnerved by the nation’s recent economic progress and stressed that the fight against terrorism will continue until complete peace is restored.
