The Punjab University has raised fees by up to 59 per cent, with the decision set to take effect from this month. According to the PU administration, the increase was approved by the syndicate. Five people, including four tourists and one local resident, have been confirmed dead following a cloudburst in Gilgit-Baltistan, which triggered landslides along the Babusar Highway, according to a spokesperson for the provincial government.
