China launched a new group of low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellites from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China’s Shanxi Province early on Thursday. A modified Long March-6 rocket, carrying the 21st group of LEO satellites to constitute an internet constellation, blasted off at 3:38 a.m., and has sent the satellites into the preset orbit. LAHORE: Pakistan has issued more than 2,800 visas to Sikh pilgrims from India for the upcoming Baisakhi festival and the 327th Khalsa Janam Din celebrations. The pilgrims are expected to participate in the annual Baisakhi Mela scheduled to take place from April 10 to 19, 2026. China launched a Long March-8 carrier rocket on Tuesday in south China’s Hainan Province, sending 18 internet satellites into space. The rocket blasted off at 9:32 p.m. from the Hainan commercial spacecraft launch site. It successfully placed the payloads, the seventh batch of networking satellites for the Qianfan Constellation, into preset orbit.
