Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan remains India’s richest actor despite a reported decline of around Rs2,490 crore in his estimated net worth over the past year.
According to the Hurun India Rich List 2026, Khan’s estimated net worth stands at Rs10,000 crore, compared with Rs12,490 crore in the 2025 edition of the list.
The valuation includes his earnings from films and endorsements as well as his business interests, including Red Chillies Entertainment and Knight Riders Sports.
Khan remains at the top
Despite the reported decline, Khan continues to lead the list of India’s wealthiest actors.
Amitabh Bachchan ranks second with an estimated net worth of Rs4,000 crore, followed by Salman Khan at Rs3,000 crore and Hrithik Roshan at Rs2,500 crore, according to the report.
Khan’s wealth extends beyond acting and endorsements through his involvement in entertainment production and sports ventures.
Business interests boost Khan’s wealth
Khan and his wife Gauri Khan co-founded Red Chillies Entertainment, which has expanded from film production into a broader entertainment company with production and visual-effects capabilities.
He is also associated with Knight Riders Sports, which has interests in cricket franchises including the Indian Premier League’s Kolkata Knight Riders.
These ventures have made Khan’s financial profile less dependent on his acting income and film releases.
Shah Rukh Khan prepares for ‘King’
The latest wealth ranking comes as Khan prepares for his next major theatrical release, King.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the action thriller is scheduled to hit cinemas on December 24, 2026.
Suhana Khan is also part of the cast, while Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma have been reported as being associated with the project.
Khan last appeared on the big screen in 2023, when Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki were released.
During a recent Ask Me Anything session on X, Khan reportedly told a fan that King would arrive on its scheduled release date and said more details about the film would emerge before December 24.
