Kareena Kapoor Khan has opened up about the strict device rules she follows for her sons, Taimur and Jeh, saying she is particularly cautious about their exposure to phones and technology.
The Jab We Met star, 45, shares the two children with actor Saif Ali Khan and discussed her approach to screen time during the 16th edition of Expresso on Monday, September 14.
Kareena said her sons do not have their own phones, although Taimur considers his nanny’s phone to be his.
“They do not have access to phones,” she said, explaining that Taimur once asked whether he could tell his friends that his nanny’s phone belonged to him.
The actor also acknowledged the difficulty of enforcing limits when children see their parents using phones.
She recalled Taimur pointing out that she and his father also spend time on their phones. Kareena added that when the children play games for extended periods, she sometimes has to physically take the devices away from them.

Kareena said she is “hyper” about her children’s digital exposure and described herself as “paranoid” about the growing influence of technology and artificial intelligence.
Her comments highlight the challenge parents face in setting screen-time boundaries while also relying heavily on digital devices themselves.
Kareena gears up for ‘Daayra’
Meanwhile, Kareena is preparing for the release of her upcoming film Daayra, in which she stars alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is scheduled to release on September 18.
