According to the department, the weather system is likely to move westward, potentially influencing weather conditions in Karachi and bringing the forecast rainfall to the city.
Heat to persist before rainfall
Despite the expected change in weather, Karachi will remain under intense heat for the next two days.
The Meteorological Department said the hot conditions will precede the anticipated rainfall from September 14, when light showers and thunderstorms are expected to bring a shift in the city’s weather.
