CPEC-II offers major opportunity to revive economy via green growth: PFC

Pakistan Furniture Council CEO Mian Kashif Ashfaq said CPEC-II provides Pakistan a major opportunity to revive its economy through green development and climate-focused investment, in line with the “Green BRI.” He stressed the need for concrete, bankable projects and stronger coordination between CPEC-II and Pakistan’s Climate Prosperity Plan, covering areas such as renewable energy, electric vehicles, climate-resilient agriculture, green economic zones and sustainable infrastructure.
