Adviser to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Monday that the war between Iran and the United States had been halted temporarily, adding that Pakistan played a role in preventing further escalation between the two countries.
Speaking at a ceremony in Faisalabad on Monday, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart has said that Allah granted Pakistan success in Marka-e-Haq. He said that India considered itself ten times stronger than Pakistan, but faith and belief lead nations towards victory.
Sanaullah has said that Pakistan’s honour continued to rise after the success of Marka-e-Haq, adding that the country had earned respect on the international stage.
The PML-N senior leader has said that no country in the world had been able to stop a conflict between a global superpower and a Muslim state, but Pakistan was given the honour of preventing war between the United States and Iran. “Enemies sought to create division within the Islamic world but Pakistan thwarted their designs,” he said.
He said the entire region would have suffered had the conflict erupted, while the rest of the world would also not have remained safe from its consequences.
The seasoned politician has said that Pakistan safeguarded peace by preventing war and gave a message of peace to both the region and the wider world. He added that Pakistan continued to play a central role in promoting unity within the Muslim Ummah.
Rana Sanaullah said there had been fears that Saudi Arabia could come under attack from Iran, while forces hostile to Islam wanted to weaken the Muslim Ummah.
He said Pakistan had also been blessed with love for Islam and religion, adding that those seeking to create divisions among Muslim countries had failed in their objectives.
Sanaullah has maintained that Allah had bestowed honour upon the prime minister, the Field Marshal and the deputy prime minister.
