Quetta Gladiators owner Nadeem Omer has said that foreign players will find it difficult to break Rilee Rossouw’s record of more than 100 matches in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Expressing his thoughts, Omer said the PSL was built with considerable hard work, adding that the past 10 years had brought several challenges. He said that the arrival of new teams has increased competition, making a place in the top four more difficult.
He termed Abrar Ahmed and Usman Tariq as two of the finest spin bowlers in the squad, adding that Shamyl Hussain is a strong talent who has progressed through the grassroots system.
He added that he plays cricket himself, understands the game well, and therefore takes several team decisions personally, saying that Sir Viv Richards was unable to come this season, and his absence was felt.
