Free Medical Camp Held in Islamabad to Mark 75 Years of Pakistan China Diplomatic Relations

ISLAMABAD (DI NEWS) : In a meaningful initiative to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, a five day free medical camp has been launched in Islamabad under the China Pakistan Friendship framework, with the strong support of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan.

The camp is being organized by the Pakistan Qihuang Traditional Chinese Medicine Center, also known as the Chinese Hospital, located in F 10 Markaz above the Bank of Punjab. The facility occupies an entire floor and is fully equipped to provide a wide range of medical services.As part of the initiative, free medical consultations and comprehensive health checkups are being offered to overseas Chinese and local community members. These services include blood routine tests, urine routine tests, blood glucose testing, electrocardiograms, and chest X rays. In addition, traditional Chinese medical treatments are also being provided by qualified specialists.

The organizers have also arranged the distribution of first aid kits, supported by the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan. These kits include essential emergency medicines, first aid bandages, and disinfectants, and are being provided free of cost to participants.According to the organizers, the medical camp is serving approximately 40 to 50 patients daily. The estimated value of medical services provided per patient ranges between PKR 4,000 to PKR 4,500, bringing the total daily value of free healthcare services to approximately PKR 300,000 to PKR 350,000.A team of experienced doctors and medical professionals, including experts in traditional Chinese medicine, is actively engaged in delivering quality healthcare services throughout the duration of the camp.

This initiative reflects the deep rooted friendship between Pakistan and China and underscores the commitment of both countries to enhancing cooperation in the healthcare sector. It also serves as a practical demonstration of mutual goodwill, aimed at improving public health and strengthening people to people connections.The organizers have extended an open invitation to the public to benefit from this opportunity, emphasizing that such initiatives play a vital role in promoting community welfare while celebrating the enduring partnership between the two nations.
