ISLAMABAD : Pakistan and China held extensive talks on Monday regarding regional security, focusing on the US-Israel strikes on Iran and cross-border terrorism from Afghanistan. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, stressing dialogue, diplomacy, and Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace. Later, Senator Ishaq Dar also spoke with EU High Representative Kaja Kallas, discussing concerns over Iran and the Middle East, briefing on Pakistan-Afghanistan tensions, and emphasizing de-escalation, with both sides agreeing to maintain close contact.
