BEIJING: China and Pakistan have signed three new cooperation agreements focused on clean water, media collaboration, and transport robotics, expanding their partnership into sustainable development and smart technology. The initiatives include water purification and desalination projects in Sindh, as well as the introduction of service robots in hotels, hospitals, and airports across Pakistan. Cultural ties are also deepening, with Pakistani and Chinese films now being screened in each other’s cinemas. Senator Saleem Mandviwalla highlighted improving economic indicators in Pakistan and emphasized the need to align with China’s upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan to further boost trade, investment, and technological collaboration.
