The University of Gujrat (UoG) strengthened Pak-China academic ties by signing a major Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a Chinese delegation led by Consul-General Zhao Shiren at the Hafiz Hayat Campus. The agreement, focusing on research, student exchange, and institutional development, coincided with the 75th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China. Zhao announced the establishment of the “Chinese Consulate Award” for the best UoG researcher to promote innovation and academic excellence. Vice Chancellor Dr. Zahoor Ul Haq appreciated the initiative and announced a dedicated Chinese office at UoG to enhance future collaboration. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening educational and cultural cooperation, marking a new chapter of friendship, peace, and shared progress.
