Pakistani superstar Mahira Khan has finally addressed the swirling rumours about her appearance after fans speculated that she had undergone cosmetic enhancements during a recent Neelofar promotional event alongside Fawad Khan in Lahore.
The actress, who boasts a massive Instagram following of 11.7 million, became the centre of online debate after her latest public appearance sparked discussion over alleged lip fillers, eyebrow lift, and Botox treatments.
At the Neelofar promotional event, fans noticed what they described as a “drastic change” in Mahira’s facial features. Many social media users pointed out her plumper cheeks and more defined facial structure, suggesting she might have undergone cosmetic enhancements.
Soon, humorous and critical comments began flooding social media platforms. Some compared her look to other celebrities known for Botox or fillers, such as Dia Mirza, Nora Fatehi, Rakhi Sawant, and even Ken Doll.

One user wrote, “Mahira Khan & Ken are looking like horrible twins,” while another commented, “She has got Botox from the wrong injector.” Others chimed in saying her eyebrow lift appeared “unnatural,” with one fan remarking, “She’s not ageing gracefully.”
Mahira breaks silence
After a couple of days of speculation, Mahira Khan decided to address the rumours herself. In an Instagram story shared online, the Humsafar star humorously responded to claims about her “eyebrow lift.”
“I have recently come back from Lahore, and I’m hearing that people are saying I have gone through an eyebrow lift. Should I show you my eyebrow-lifting talent?” she said, laughing — before lifting her eyebrow exactly as seen in the viral clips.
Mahira didn’t stop there. She also responded directly on X (formerly Twitter) to a user who criticized her appearance, explaining that her changed look was due to a failed makeup technique.
“Thank you for the love, but why would I do a facelift right now (not that I’m judging anyone who would or has). My makeup artist did some hair-lift things to give a ‘snatched look’ — in two parts. And it wasn’t done right. Anyhow… lesson learnt. Moving on. Lots of love,” she wrote.

The person later apologized for the comment, to which Mahira responded graciously, saying, “Noo don’t be silly ♥️.”

Upcoming film ‘Neelofar’
Mahira Khan remains one of Pakistan’s most acclaimed actresses, celebrated for hit dramas including Humsafar, Shehr-e-Zaat, Sadqay Tumhare, Bin Roye, Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay, and Razia.
On the film front, she has delivered powerful performances in Bol, Verna, Superstar, and the mega-blockbuster The Legend of Maula Jatt.
Her much-awaited film Neelofar, featuring Fawad Khan, is slated for release soon — reuniting the beloved on-screen duo that fans have cherished since Humsafar.
