Pakistan head coach Mike Hesson said the Indian cricket team appeared “confident” ahead of their Asia Cup match scheduled for Sunday, 14 September, and confirmed that Pakistan were aware of the challenge.
Speaking on Thursday, Hesson said the team had not yet finalised its playing XI. He said that the pitch in Dubai looked quite different from the one in Sharjah.
Talking about the forthcoming encounter against India, he added that the team remained focused on improvement.
Hesson said: “The presence of five spinners in the squad as a distinctive strength.” He added that the team has several options if conditions favoured spin.
