Apple’s annual fall hardware event is reportedly scheduled for September 9, 2025, and expectations are high.
The company is gearing up to debut its iPhone 17 lineup, along with updates to the Apple Watch and AirPods. Rumors suggest this year’s highlight could be Apple’s slimmest smartphone yet — the iPhone Air.
The iPhone 17 is rumoured to get a makeover that brings it closer to the Pro series. A 6.3-inch 120Hz display, a 24-megapixel front camera, and new purple and green color options are among the expected upgrades.
The iPhone 17 Pro may introduce a rectangular camera bar stretching across the back, a material shift from titanium to aluminum for lighter weight, and new dark blue and copper colors. Meanwhile, the Pro Max could gain a slightly thicker body to accommodate a larger battery.
Pricing is expected to start at $800 for the base iPhone 17, $1,050 for the Pro, and $1,250 for the Pro Max. However, storage options may shrink, with the Pro losing the 128GB model and starting at 256GB.
iPhone Air: Apple’s thinnest phone yet
One of the most anticipated announcements is the iPhone Air, rumored to replace the Plus model. With a 5.5 mm profile — thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge — it could become the thinnest iPhone ever. The device is said to feature a 6.6-inch display, a single rear camera, and possibly no bottom speaker, relying instead on the top earpiece.
Expected to retail at $950, the iPhone Air may be available in black, silver, and light gold. Analysts believe this slim design could pave the way for Apple’s long-rumored foldable phone, expected in 2026.
Apple watch series 11, ultra 3, and SE 3
Apple is also preparing updates to its smartwatch lineup. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 may feature faster charging, 5G connectivity, and satellite support, along with a larger display. Health features like blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea detection are rumored but may face delays.
The Apple Watch Series 11 could inherit some of these features, while the SE 3 may stick to minor updates such as a bigger screen or even a budget-friendly plastic version. Expected prices: $250 (SE 3), $400 (Series 11), and $800 (Ultra 3).
Airpods pro 3: sleeker design, better sound
Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 are also rumored to launch with a slimmer case, smaller earbuds, touch-sensitive controls, and a powerful H3 chip to improve noise cancellation and adaptive audio.
With Apple focusing on thinner designs, improved health features, and AI-ready devices, the September event is shaping up to be one of the company’s most ambitious launches in years.
