The government of Oman has opened applications for fully funded scholarships for international students, including Pakistanis, under its Omani Program for Cultural and Scientific Cooperation.
The initiative offers young talent the chance to study for a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, sciences, and humanities at leading private universities in Oman — with full tuition, a monthly stipend, and an annual air ticket.
Key benefits for students
Selected students will receive:
- 100% tuition fee coverage
- Monthly stipend of OMR 200 (without housing) or OMR 140 (with housing)
- One round-trip air ticket each academic year
- Choice of up to 3 universities and 2 academic majors
The scholarships exclude medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy but cover a wide range of other disciplines.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must:
- Be Pakistani nationals
- Have completed Intermediate or equivalent within the last 3 years
- Be 23 years or younger at the time of application
- Be medically fit
- Obtain an Equivalency Certificate from Oman’s Ministry of Education
Application process
Students must:
- Apply directly to their chosen Omani universities before the relevant deadlines.
