ISLAMABAD (DI NEWS) : China and Pakistan signed an agreement in Beijing between Hazza Institute of Technology and NAVTTC to boost vocational, technical, and professional training under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal highlighted that the next phase of CPEC will focus on business-to-business cooperation and industrialization, aiming to create 1,000 new jobs in the coming years. He stressed that Pakistan’s youth, with two-thirds of the population under 30, must be equipped with future-ready skills in AI, robotics, big data, green technology, and advanced manufacturing to seize opportunities of the fourth industrial revolution. The Uraan Pakistan Program, aligned with China’s successful vocational model, will develop skill centers, promote technology transfer, and enhance youth employability, turning Pakistan’s demographic potential into economic power and driving sustainable industrial growth.
