At least 11 terrorists were killed in an overnight clash with Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan South in the Gwargo area of Panjgur district.
According to security sources, the confrontation occurred on the night of August 1 when troops of the 91 Wing, acting on timely intelligence, engaged militants in the remote border region. The FC personnel had been placed on high alert following intelligence reports about militant movement in the area.
During the fierce exchange of fire, 11 terrorists were neutralized. However, two FC soldiers embraced martyrdom.
The Pakistan Army has since launched a clearance operation in the surrounding areas to eliminate any remaining threats and prevent further infiltration by the terrorist group.
