Pakistan, China Air Chiefs pledge closer defence dooperation

In a key development reflecting the robust Pakistan-China strategic partnership, a high-level Chinese defence delegation led by Lieutenant General Wang Gang, Chief of Staff of the PLA Air Force, met with Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu at PAF Headquarters in Islamabad. The visit centered on enhancing bilateral airpower cooperation and operational synergy. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to collaboration in training, technology, and joint operations. Lt Gen Wang praised the PAF’s operational readiness and modern doctrine, particularly its execution of Multi-Domain Operations. The meeting underscored growing defence ties and innovation-driven cooperation between the two air forces.
