Chinese President Xi Jinping said that the pressing task for the Palestinian question is to comprehensively and effectively implement the relevant UN Security Council resolutions to end the war as soon as possible. The government has deployed Pakistan Army in Islamabad under Article 245 of the Constitution to assist civil authorities in maintaining law and order amid escalating violence in the city.
