China’s door to communication with Lithuania remains open, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said on Friday, following Lithuanian Prime Minister Inga Ruginiene’s recent statement that her country’s 2021 decision to host a “Taiwanese representative office” was a strategic mistake. Lin said China urges Lithuania to return to the right track of adhering to the one-China principle and accumulate conditions for the normalization of China-Lithuania relations. China has launched a new satellite short messaging service leveraging the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS), designed to provide reliable communication during emergencies when ground-based mobile networks are unavailable. A Chinese aerospace company completed a test flight of its domestically developed electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft , China Media Group reports. The aircraft, made by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation’s (CASC) Ninth Academy, conducted the first test flight at Yongchuan Da’an Airport, at southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality, where all performance verifications were completed. China’s State Council on Friday convened a plenary meeting to discuss the draft government work report and a draft outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan for economic and social development. ISLAMABAD : At least 31 people were killed and 169 others were injured in a suicide blast at a mosque in Tarlai area of Islamabad on Friday, said Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Irfan Memon. The bomber exploded himself at the entry gate of an Imambargah during Friday prayers when an attempt was made to stop him. World Bank President Ajay Banga has said that Pakistan will need to create 30 million jobs over the next ten years, with an annual requirement of 2.5 to 3 million new jobs.
