The security forces have completed a search and strike operation against terrorists in the Miryan area of Bannu. The curfew imposed during the operation has been lifted and normal life has resumed, with roads reopened for traffic. According to reports, terrorists had earlier targeted the Miryan police station by dropping explosives using a quadcopter drone. The blast injured a police officer, who was later shifted to a hospital. Police said this was the eighth drone attack by terrorists on the six police stations in Miryan.
The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has discovered an oil reserve in the Chakravan Well of Tando Allahyar district, Sindh, with an expected daily output of 275 barrels of crude oil.
