The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a severe cold wave alert for several northern regions and northern Balochistan, warning of intensified cold conditions and associated health and travel risks. The price of gold saw another increase in both global and Pakistani markets on Tuesday. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs3,200 per tola, reaching Rs467,962, as global rates rose amid steady investor demand.
