The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the national squad for the Hong Kong Sixes, naming Abbas Afridi as captain for the three-day tournament.
The competition will take place at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Hong Kong from October 30 to November 1, with Pakistan among 12 teams competing in the event.
The PCB has selected a seven-member squad for the tournament, with Abbas Afridi leading the side. The squad includes Abdul Samad, Ahmed Daniyal, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Khawaja Nafay, Muhammad Shahzad and Saad Masood.
Raza Kitchlew has been appointed team manager for Pakistan’s campaign in the Hong Kong Sixes.

According to the PCB, the Pakistan team will leave for Hong Kong on October 28, two days before the tournament begins. The six-a-side competition will run for three days, concluding on November 1.
Twelve teams divided into four pools
A total of 12 teams will participate in the Hong Kong Sixes, with the teams divided into four pools of three sides each.
Pakistan have been placed in Pool C and will compete in the tournament alongside the other participating teams.
The event will provide Pakistan with an opportunity to showcase its players in the fast-paced six-a-side format, which features shorter matches than conventional cricket.
