The military chiefs of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye have reaffirmed their firm commitment to defending the security, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Asim Munir, Turkish Chief of General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroglu and Saudi Chief of General Staff General Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili attended the meeting held under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement (MJDA) in Riyadh.
The meeting reviewed the security situation in the region and the threats facing Saudi Arabia. The participants strongly condemned attacks on Makkah and civilian and economic infrastructure.
They praised the readiness and professional expertise of the Saudi Armed Forces in ensuring the security of the Kingdom.
The three sides also discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation among their armed forces, including intelligence sharing. They considered measures to improve military coordination and the integration of capabilities.
The participants praised the long-standing ties and mutual trust between the peoples and armed forces of the three countries.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting reflected the shared commitment to strengthening the defence partnership under the agreement. The participants reaffirmed their firm commitment to joint defence.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to defending the security, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
