ISLAMABAD (DI NEWS) : Federal Minister for Board of Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh presented a shield to Director Programmes & PR, CGTN Urdu, China Media Group (CMG), Tasawwar Zaman Babar, in recognition of his services towards promoting bilateral relations, mutual cooperation and people-to-people ties between Pakistan and China.
Federal Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh appreciated the professional services of Tasawwar Zaman Babar and said that the media plays a vital role in highlighting the enduring friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and China. He said that Babar’s efforts in effectively highlighting Pakistan-China cooperation in various fields and promoting positive and constructive dialogue on matters of mutual interest were highly commendable.
The Federal Minister said that the friendship between Pakistan and China was not limited to government-to-government relations, but was also rooted in strong and longstanding people-to-people ties between the two countries. He emphasized that the media continues to play an important role in further strengthening these bonds and promoting greater understanding between the peoples of Pakistan and China.
Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh also appreciated Tasawwar Zaman Babar’s extensive professional career and his contributions during his association with Radio Pakistan, Pakistan Television and China Media Group.
