Four people have been killed and 16 others injured in incidents linked to strong winds and heavy rainfall in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued an initial report, stating that severe winds and heavy downpours caused multiple incidents of wall, house, and shop collapses across different areas of the district.
Among the deceased were two men and two children, while the injured included four men, five women, and seven children.
The PDMA has urged residents to take precautionary measures during adverse weather conditions, avoid weak or dilapidated structures, and contact local authorities in case of emergencies. It also advised the public to report incidents through its helpline 1700.
