Iran’s Foreign Ministry has rejected an allegation made by the United Arab Emirates.
In a statement issued by the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, it was stated that the UAE’s cooperation with the United States and Israel is unacceptable. The statement maintained that the defensive action was directed solely against the United States, and that military bases in Abu Dhabi are being regarded as measures against Iran. A strong response was warned against any anti-Iran steps.
Separately, a spokesperson for Iran’s central Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters stated that Iran’s armed forces had not carried out any missile or drone strikes against the United Arab Emirates. The UAE Ministry of Defence report was entirely false and baseless. It was warned that any action from UAE soil against Iran would be met with a firm response, and that the country should not become a safe haven for Americans and Zionists, as such a course would amount to a betrayal of the Muslim world.
The statement said that the United States and Israel are enemies of Islam and a cause of instability in the region. It added that propaganda, false allegations, and attempts to portray victimhood do not resolve issues. Past restraint, it said, had been exercised in consideration of the safety of Muslims in the UAE.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Navy has warned vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz to adhere strictly to routes designated by Iran. Any deviation, it said, would invite a decisive response.
