ISLAMABAD : The Foreign Office said on Friday that the shooting incident in the United States indicated the global resurgence of terrorism, and the responsibility for the killing of three Chinese nationals in Tajikistan lies with Afghanistan.
During the weekly press briefing, the spokesperson for the Foreign Office said that the “shooting incident in the United States is tragic. Pakistan condemns this incident. Our sympathies are with those who lost their lives.”
He said that the Washington incident indicated the global resurgence of terrorism. The international community should take steps to stop Afghan terrorism. “We express heartfelt condolences to the family of the slain soldier,” he added.
He expressed sorrow with the people and government over the killing of three Chinese nationals in the drone attack in Tajikistan, and emphasized that Afghanistan must prevent terrorism from operating from its soil.
The Foreign Office spokesperson condemned the statement by the Indian Defence Minister regarding Sindh, saying that Rajnath’s statement “is a blatant violation of international laws.”
He said “the statements are based on delusion. Pakistan supports the peaceful resolution of issues, but will make no compromise on its defence.”
