GCUF signs MoU with Lushan Botanical Garden China

FAISALABAD: Vice Chancellor of GCU Faisalabad, Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, is on an official visit to China to attend the 5th Belt and Road China–Pakistan Agriculture Forum at Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU) in Wuhan. The event highlighted the need to strengthen academic cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, with appreciation from Pakistan’s Ambassador to China for HZAU’s collaborative efforts. Prof. Rauf-i-Azam promoted GCUF’s internationalization agenda and invited Chinese scholars to partner in research and academic exchanges. During the visit, he signed MoUs with Lushan Botanical Garden to establish Pakistan’s first botanical garden and with HZAU to expand cooperation in agricultural and biological sciences, including joint research, faculty exchanges, and collaborative international projects.
