Olympian Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal in the javelin throw at the Islamic Solidarity Games with a longest throw of 83.05 metres.
According to details, Nadeem threw 75.44 metres in the first round, while Pakistan’s Yasir Sultan achieved 70.32 metres, placing Nadeem first in the initial round.
In the second round, Yasir Sultan threw 74.43 metres, but Nadeem surpassed him with a throw of 83.05 metres, maintaining his lead.
During the third round, Nadeem recorded 82.48 metres, while Sultan managed 72.82 metres. Nadeem remained in first place at the end of the round, with Sultan in third.
In the fourth round, Sultan threw 73.78 metres, while Nadeem reached 77.06 metres, strengthening his prospects of winning the gold medal.
In the fifth round, Nadeem fouled his attempt, whereas Sultan threw 71.79 metres.
