According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was launched on the night of November 1 following credible intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the area.
The security personnel engaged the terrorists in an exchange of fire, resulting in the deaths of four BLA members.
The military’s media wing said the operation was part of ongoing efforts to eliminate terrorism and dismantle networks involved in anti-state activities.
Weapons and ammunition seized
The ISPR reported that arms and ammunition were recovered from the possession of the slain militants. The recovered material included items used in recent acts of sabotage and terrorist attacks carried out by the BLA in various parts of the country.
