The 15th World Socialism Forum, hosted by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), opened in Beijing on Monday.
More than 90 foreign participants, including internationally influential Marxist scholars and foreign diplomats in China, gathered to discuss the forum’s theme: “At the Crossroads of World History: The Choice of All Nations.”
Founded in 2004, the forum has consistently aligned its themes with shifts in both international and domestic contexts, inviting guests from home and abroad to share their perspectives.
It has become a key platform for philosophical and social science theorists to exchange ideas, as well as an important window for telling China’s story, amplifying China’s voice, and showcasing a real, multidimensional and comprehensive image of the country.
The two-day forum is sponsored by CASS’s World Socialism Research Center, the Academy of Marxism, and the Research Center of Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
