Pakistan’s exports to Afghanistan increased by 38.68 per cent during the fiscal year 2024–25, compared to the previous year, according to official data shared by Special Representative for Afghanistan, Mohammad Sadiq.
In a message posted on social media, Sadiq cited figures from the State Bank of Pakistan showing that total exports to Afghanistan rose from US$558.032 million in 2023–24 to US$773.892 million in 2024–25.
During June 2025, exports amounted to US$50.23 million, reflecting an 8 per cent increase compared to US$46.405 million in June 2024.
Meanwhile, imports from Afghanistan also registered a significant increase, rising by 116.53 per cent to US$25.898 million in 2024–25, according to Sadiq.
However, on a year-on-year basis, a 33.55 per cent decline in imports from Afghanistan was recorded.
