The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a $200 million loan to modernize Pakistan’s power distribution infrastructure. The project aims to install over 300,000 advanced metering systems and enhance data management and communication networks. The initiative will include monitoring systems for 15,500 transformers and upgrades to voltage levels at SEPCO grid stations.
